On March 12th, Beijing’s International Electronic Commerce Center hosted specialized conference that introduced technological breakthrough in product traceability to a wide audience and industry representatives from the USA, Europe and Southeast Asian countries. What was first hidden behind the name “WX312”, soon showed to be the future for all imported/exported goods in/out of China, within a technological platform that will guarantee authenticity of a product for each buyer, require adequate level of quality from each producer, standardize and expand marketing channels.
For every approved producer, each product will carry a unique QR code that will offer all detailed information for this particular product, its producer and other relevant information. System is centralized and will offer numerous additional advertising and marketing tools for products being imported into China, and for Chinese products exported abroad. It will guarantee product quality and provide easy way to check each product.
“WX312” was developed by Chinese company Guofutong Information Technology Development whose General Manager Mr. Yang Guangxi stated that the system incorporates solutions to all requirements requested by the China’s Ministry of Commerce, as well as all modern values of e-commerce. China’s e-commerce market reached USD 1.1 trillion this year, making it the world’s first trillion-dollar e-commerce market, and by 2022 it will double the US market.
