ZAGREB - The fourth SF Airlines Boeing 747 aircraft landed in Zagreb yesterday on a direct flight from Shanghai on an air bridge between China and Croatia set up to deliver the protective equipment needed to combat the coronavirus epidemic.

Same as the previous flights, it delivered large quantities of equipment commercially gotten from MEHECO and Sinopharm, as well as donations from Chinese cities and provinces to Croatian cities and counties: Yangzhou City to Korcula and Dubrovnik, Dongtai City to Opatija, and Jiangxi County to Zadar County.

The city of Yangzhou is a sister-city with Korcula, and last year police officers from there came during the summer season and were on a joint patrol with Croatian police officers on the Plitvice Lakes, Dubrovnik, Zadar and Zagreb, as favorite destinations for Chinese tourists, as part of the Safe tourist season.

A donation to hospitals in Slavonski Brod and Zagreb has been on the flight too. This donation has been collected by students from the Beijing University of Foreign Studies which has undergraduate degree in Croatian for over ten years.

There were a total of 57 tons of medical equipment on this flight.
