|Two awards for Croatian tourism from the ITB China fair in Shanghai|

|SHANGHAI - Croatian National Tourist Board presents Croatian tourist offer at the ITB China business fair, which is held in Shanghai from 15 to 17 May 2019.|
Croatia's tourism received two prestigious awards - a reward for the "Istrian Games" film tour in Dubrovnik and for cooperation with the Slovenian tourist organization.
As part of the ITB China fair, the ceremony was awarded the "CTW Chinese Welcome Award" award, awarded by COTRI - China Outbound Tourism Research Institute since 2004. The Croatian Tourist Board, together with the Slovenian Tourist Organization, won the prestigious CTW Award for the "Experience Croatia, Feel Slovenia "in the category" Internet & Media "
The Croatian offer is part of a large European Travel Committee (ETC) booth, where its offer is represented by 23 European entities, including the EPK Rijeka 2020 and the City of Zagreb. The fair was visited by Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) director Kristjan Staničić, who met with representatives of the Chinese tourism sector and who took over the awards for Croatian tourism.
During the fair, the ceremony was awarded the "IT'S MY WORLD Travel Awards 2019" award, and Croatia won the "Amazing Travel Experiences of the Year" award for the film's "Games of the Throne" movie tour in Dubrovnik. awarded by ITB China and a specialized Qyer tourist portal for Chinese tourists. Qyer has positioned itself as an extremely popular Chinese and worldwide platform that offers travel services to over 100 million people around the world.
The HTZ Representative in Shanghai also participated in the ETOA workshop held on the eve of ITB, where the director of Franka Gulin's Presence met with over 25 tour operators and Chinese media.
The Croatian delegation also met with representatives of the Chinese Mafengwo platform, which is a combination of Facebook and Trip Advisors, and with Travel Link agency agencies, one of the top marketing agencies in tourism. About the possibilities of co-operation were also discussed with representatives of Tongcheng Agency, the third largest online agency in China, as well as representatives of the media buying agency Hy Link, the first Chinese independent agency that has many US customers as well. The fair was attended by Mayor of Rijeka Veljko Obersnel, City Council President Andrej Poropat, Director of TZ Rijeka Petar Škarpa and Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in NR Kini Bisera Fabrio.
