Organizers, Association Zagorje's Business Club and Krapinske Toplice Municipality have been working on topics, presentations and panel discussions to bring potential investors closer to speed up the development of Krapinske Toplice as a destination for health.

CSEBA President of the Presidency Mario Rendulić pointed out that Chinese investors have recognized Krapinske Toplice as a destination for health tourism to be invested in. Of course, there is still a lot of work left, especially for increasing the quality of accommodation facilities in Krapinske Toplice.

- It is certain that the Chinese will realize their investment in the Krapinske Toplice within a few years. This projects are already agreed and a memorandum with the municipality has been signed. The Chinese are somewhat slow in realization, but it is not disputed that they have made a strategic decision on investments in Hrvatsko Zagorje, said Rendulić.

Zagorje Business Club President Dragutin Kamenski said that Krapinske Toplice lacks accommodation capacities, and that the project of a nursing home is also a very important development segment.

"We are aiming for investors, either private or some institutions, who are willing to invest in real-return projects," the president of the organizers' association said.

Krapinske Toplice Mayor Ernest Svažić added that the municipality has been presenting its investment opportunities in domestic and foreign investors many times.

- We do it all over Croatia and abroad, but this time we decided to present in our yard. We have teamed up with members of very powerful companies and today we are negotiating three jobs or three ideas, we've done a lot, Svažić said.

He also described some concrete projects implemented in Krapinske Toplice, such as the Russian investment in the construction of the Heli Center, a German investment in the restoration of Bellevue, etc.

- Krapinske Toplice have unlimited development potential, not health tourism itself, but also all the accompanying contents that go along with it. Along with the existing health facilities, the spa, the two hospitals, the clinic, the Aqua Vivae, and the catering facilities, I am sure that the potential for the development of high value-added health tourism products and services for attracting high-paying customers, said Mario Antonić, State Secretary of the Ministry of the Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, highlighting the extraordinary openness and assistance of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the ministry towards each investor.

Julius Rose's business consultant and managing director of the company, Ivana Kolar, also moderator of the event, said that the development of health tourism is more up-to-date than ever, and Krapinske Toplice is a real example of a destination that can be shown in this area.

"This is a wonderful destination full of potential for development, both for wellness and for medical tourism. Here, we have gathered investors in potential projects, and they are more than sixty - explained Kolar.
