CSEBA led a delegation from Croatia which was focused on promotional activities and business networking of travel agencies from Croatia and China.

The conference is one of the biggest annual tourism events in Zhejiang Province, and was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Municipal People's Government, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Bureau, President of Provincial Travel Agency Association, Director of Jiaxing Tourism Commission and more than 500 tourism professionals from China and 10 other countries including Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Finland, South Korea, Ecuador, Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Croatian delegation was led by CSEBA and included Croatian travel agencies Sky Travel and Uniqat, and International Association of Roads of Marco Polo. During the conference, CSEBA and Sky Travel signed a cooperation agreement with Jiaxing City Travel Agency Association, organizers of the conference.

With a population of 4 million, Jiaxing City is symbolically important city as the birth place of Chinese Communist Party. Soon after his re-election in 2017, President Xi Jinping led the delegation of all highest members of the central government, CPC Standing Committee, to visit Jiaxing City where they went to the South Lake and saw the “Red Boat” where the CPC was established in 1921.

Jiaxing City is one of the strongest promoters of the “red tourism” in China, emphasizing the tradition of ancient Chinese culture and lifestyle, in combination with modern values of PR China. Canal cities cultural tours, ancient town leisure tours, hot spring health tours, village tours, fashion shopping tours, sports fitness tours, new experience tour, red tourism and wetland ecotourism are bringing dozens of millions of tourists every year, with double digit growth year-on-year. In 2018, Zhejiang province continues to promote and support open international cooperation in tourism, especially with 16 countries of Southeast Europe.
