DUBROVNIK - Chinese Southeast European Business Association (CSEBA), in cooperation with the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC), the premium event company Meritum komunikacije, the City of Dubrovnik, the Ministry of Tourism, Croatian Tourist Board and Ministry of sustainable development and tourism of Montenegro, is organizing the Silk Road Tourism Conference, to be held at Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel, Dubrovnik, on April 24-26, 2018. |
Croatia has never before witnessed such an event with top Chinese tourist workers, associations and investors. The main topics of the conference will be: nautical tourism, health tourism and cultural tourism. It will be the largest Chinese gathering in the history of Croatia and the region with a dozen representatives of Chinese investors, tourism companies and travel agencies. We especially emphasize the fact that for the first time in the Republic of Croatia, the highest representatives of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC), an organization that connects some of the Silk Road Chambers of Commerce, and whose CSEBA is a full member, is on official visit. Tourism potentials and characteristics of Croatia are still relatively unknown in China. Tourist promotion in PR China requires great organizational and cost-effective efforts, so we are trying to bring as many relevant Chinese partners, tourism agencies and business professionals as possible to the Republic of Croatia. This event is an opportunity to show and present tourism and investment potentials of the City of Dubrovnik and from other parts of Croatia, to a large number of investors, travel agencies and professionals from China, many of which being in Croatia for the first time. The purpose of the conference is to develop tourism products and traveling programs for the guests from PR China, to expand cooperation between travel agencies from Croatia and neighbouring countries with the agencies from China. The Silk Road Tourism Conference puts much attention on education, pointing out main differences in these distinctive tourist markets, educating about the specifics of Chinese tourists, their needs and newest trends. Our joint activities will achieve an essential goal - building a critical mass of success stories linked to Chinese project of the Silk Road Initiative. |
