Nuo is a culture. Carrying the original breath, it goes through the dust of history and remains alive till today. It reveres the mysterious heaven through the Nuoji ceremony, and celebrates humanity through Nuoshen dance. Nuo mask is a totem in China, which signifies the unity of heaven and people through Taoism. Putting on the Nuo Mask, you become a God, taking it off, you become a man. Nuo mask is the door leading you to another world.

The play showed the beginning of the World, creation of life through Yin and Yang, beginning of humankind and celebration of life.

The performance of Beijing Dance Academy was organised by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. It was attended by H.E. Hu Zhaoming, Ambassador of PR China in Croatia, former president of Croatia Stjepan Mesić, Minister of Culture of Republic of Croatia Nina Obuljen Koržinek, representatives of Chinse Southeast Europe Business Association (CSEBA) and other distinguished guests.
