For those looking to visit China, now is the time.

Croatian citizens will no longer need a visa to travel to China in just over a year, and will be able to stay in the country visa-free for up to 30 days, Reuters reported on Friday.

Citizens of Croatia, Japan, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro and other countries will no longer need a visa to enter China from November 30 this year to December 31, 2025, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Friday.

China will also extend the visa-free stay in the country to 30 days from the current 15 for citizens of all 38 countries under the program, state broadcaster CCTV reported.

China has previously lifted visas for South Korea and some European countries to boost tourism and trade amid slowing economic growth.
