ZAGREB - The Croatian Tourist Board (CTB) tourist council has appointed directors of CTB representatives in seven countries at today's session and the plan for marketing and PR co-operation on the Ultra Europe 2018 project has been adopted, as well as the support for security. |
Branimir Tončinić was appointed director of the CTB branch in Austria, in the Czech Republic Dubravko Miholić, Slovenia Metka Bradetić, Sweden Vedran Sušić, Hungary Ivana Herceg, and in China Franka Gulin, for a period of three years. The election of the director was commented by the chairman of the Board of Appointment, Advisor to Minister Cappelli Barbara Mesić. "Increasing the number of our overseas offices contributes to the transformation of the network in line with modern trends. Our representations are extremely important for strengthening our country's position on the world's tourist map as well as for getting closer to new markets where we already have concrete moves - for example, from the far-reaching markets we have a 20 percent increase in tourist traffic, which is a sign that we are on the right track, adviser to Minister Barbara Mesić, while Director Staničić commented on the Safe Tourism Season. "We look forward to continuing the successful international cooperation on the project Safe Tourism Season, which will include more than 80 foreign police officers from 17 European countries this year, and for the first time police officers from China," Staničić said. |
